Next to the Tibetan monks' temple in Dehra Dun, a new school building was designed. This aid project was financed in part by The Holosophical Society, SIDA and the Red Cross. The assignment involved close contacts with the users, studies of the local building traditions and an adaptation to traditional building methods. The school was inaugurated in 1992 by the Dalai Lama.
